It takes many people to make a good map: Artists, Lighters, Scripters, Sound Designers, QA Testers, Producers, and a whole team of Level Designers providing input into the design. Level Designers at Treyarch design gameplay and also┬ádetail the maps with the direction of the art department and brilliant concept artists, however, the vast majority of my work day is spent on gameplay design, which involves the initial map concept, initial map layout, and iteration of the map until gameplay design is deemed complete (until it’s fun). Below are the maps that embody the majority of my work at Treyarch (ordered from newest to oldest).
